• 2-3 fillets cod, skinned and deboned
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp seasoned salt
  • ¼ tsp parsley, or other herb of choice (basil, dill, etc.)
  • 3 medium – lemon
  • 1 cup – water
  • Optional: 1 tbsp of butter


  1. Place the 1 cup water and the 2 tbsps of lemon juice in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  2. Insert the metal steamer basket and place the frozen cod fillets on top.
  3. Sprinkle the herb(s) on top of the cod.
  4. Put the Instant Pot lid on and set the Manual timer for 4 minutes.
  5. When the timer goes off do a quick release.
  6. Optional: Remove the cod and melt a light layer of butter over the top.
  7. Serve with extra lemon, extra herbs, and/or salt and pepper.
