• 2.5 lb beef tip roast
  • 3 c. beef broth
  • 3-4 Russet potatoes
  • Seasoning rub


  1. Rub the roast with the seasoning. I used a pre-made mix called Rub Some Burger
  2. Set the instant pot to sauté with some oil in it.
  3. Sear roast on all sides.
  4. Add the beef broth.
  5. Cut the Russet potatoes in half and add them.
  6. Put on the lid and set to high pressure for 70 minutes.
  7. After the 70 minutes let it natural release for another 15 minutes before releasing the pressure.
