1.5 lbs ground meat
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced ( or 1 tbsp )
1 small onion, diced

  4. Add the pasta on top of ground beef mixture.
  5. Then add the pasta sauce and 24 oz of water into the Instant Pot, making sure that all the noodles are covered by liquid.
  6. Lock lid, seal valve, and press the manual button and adjust the time to 5 minutes.
  7. When pressure cooker is done cooking do a quick release by carefully opening the steam valve.
  8. Stir and serve topped with parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • You can always add some Italian seasoning for extra flavor too, but it really depends on the sauce you are using. In this case I was using a jar of Trader Joe’s Vodka sauce. If you are using plain spaghetti sauce, then some extra flavor probably won’t hurt.
