Ingredients

½ lb of dried black beans
3 cups of water
½ tsp garlic, onion, chili powder

Instructions

  1. Rinse the beans and remove any rocks, etc.
  2. Add everything into the Instant Pot.
  3. Put on the lid and set to high pressure for 25 minutes.
  4. Natural release for 20 minutes when the timer goes off.

Notes

  • I didn’t get much of the flavor when they were just cooked. Then the next day the spices were almost overpowering, so they must have been absorbed later.
